Welcome to our blog.

We are a group of friends who have lived in Los Angeles for years. We’ve each gone through stages of loving and hating this sprawling city. It’s that crazy place with no heart, ruled by the car and decorated with strip malls. There is no there there, right? Well, actually no – wrong. There are lots of theres’ and we want to help you find them. And also remind ourselves of how great this place is.

As a group we share a love of food and cooking, wine and cocktails, fine hotels and travel, great design and interesting architecture, quirky destinations and hidden gems.

This blog will be a reflection of all those things and of this amazing city we’ve found ourselves in.
